Jeff Nawfel, captain of the Wells Fire Department, took on the task of comforting and gaining the trust of a husky in Maine, USA, in order to safely bring him back inside the house.
Throughout history, dogs have been known for their unwavering loyalty to humans and their ability to assist us in various ways. Whether it’s helping with household chores or providing companionship, dogs have proven to be indispensable allies to humans. But just like humans, dogs too face challenges that require assistance from others. This particular husky dog was recently spotted in Wells, Maine, and it seems like he could use a helping hand.
The Wells Police Department shared a video on Facebook showing a dog that was chained to the roof of its house and couldn’t move or respond to its owners’ pleas for assistance. While it may seem like a simple issue, the local Fire Department had to step in to rescue the helpless animal without causing any harm.
As per reports, the firefighter gained the trust of a dog by climbing up to the roof of the house and calming him down. After they established mutual understanding, the firefighter carried the dog in his arms and brought him back through the window into the fireplace. However, before entering the fireplace, the dog expressed gratitude towards the firefighter by kissing him on the cheek.
