When we decide to adopt a pet, we are making a permanent commitment. This is something that all pet owners should be aware of. However, there are some dog owners out there who do not seem to understand this. Recently, a dog owner abandoned his pet after the dog was seriously injured and lost its sight. The owner believed that he no longer deserved to keep the dog as a result. Sadly, when the dog was eventually found, it was severely malnourished and dehydrated due to lack of care.
The unhappy dog was discovered lying in the mud, without a home to call his own. He was suffering from dehydration, starvation, and physical weakness. He had made the decision to spend his last moments in this place. His owner, the one person he loved deeply had left him, and he had lost all hope for a better life.
The rescue team managed to find the dog just in time and he was too feeble to stand on his own. They assisted him into their vehicle and took him to the vet for a check-up. Throughout the journey, the little pup remained calm and collected, despite feeling scared. He had faith in the rescuers and knew they would do everything they could to save him. In this moment, he realized that he didn’t have to succumb to his fate so easily.
The veterinarian reported that the dog’s health had deteriorated so much that he was on the brink of starvation. He needed numerous blood transfusions due to his severe anemia. The rescuers took action by making calls and posting on Facebook to find a foster home for him. The dog deserved a loving home and shouldn’t have to wait at the vet’s office any longer than necessary. It was time for him to experience the warmth of a loving home!
On the following day, the rescuers were contacted by a delightful woman who had experience working with visually impaired animals. She offered to take in the dog and provide him with a safe haven to recover. It was an ideal arrangement, and once the veterinarian gave the all-clear, the puppy met his new foster mother, and they hit it off right away!
The dog, who had previously resigned himself to his fate, is now thriving. In fact, he’s become somewhat of a foster failure! His foster mom can’t imagine a better home for him, and he charms everyone he meets with his lovable personality. Despite his blindness, he is truly a joy. We are overjoyed that this puppy has finally found his forever home.
