Having an unusual appearance can often make you stand out, and this was certainly the case for Angel. While at the shelter, she was constantly picked on by the other cats. Her unique look made her seem like she was always angry. Kaetlyn Koch, a volunteer at Chittenden County Humane Society, stumbled upon Angel’s photo and discovered that she was being kept in an employee’s office to keep her safe from the other cats.
Koch recalls meeting Angel and feeling an instant connection with the feline. Despite not intending to adopt a pet at the time, Koch took Angel home and renamed her Loki Kitteh, given her resemblance to a vampire cat.
The story of Loki Kitteh’s adoption quickly gained popularity and made her a viral sensation. Koch explains that sometimes, fate has a way of bringing unexpected surprises into our lives, like falling in love with an unusual-looking cat.
She had the pleasure of meeting a shy-looking cat at her workplace, and the rest is history. Koch recalled being introduced to the feline, who was hiding at the back of a desk drawer with a perturbed expression. The staff explained that she was timid but sometimes showed affection to particular workers. After offering the cat some treats, they allowed her to return to the shadowy depths of the drawer. The following day, Koch adopted the cute vampire cat, whom she aptly named Loki Kitteh.
The feline named Loki is a nod to the Norse god and is a better fit for this kitty with sharp teeth and an adorable sneer than the name Angel. Though initially shy, she warmed up to her adoptive mom and has been a bundle of affection ever since. Koch raves about how cuddly and affectionate Loki is, making her the most loving cat she’s ever owned.
According to reports, Loki Kitteh is doing well health-wise and has good eyesight. Despite the fact that one of her eyes does not fully close, she still manages to get enough rest. In fact, this unique trait only adds to her charm, making her seem like a feline vampire! Her owner, Koch, adopted her when she was eight years old, and not much is known about her past. However, this doesn’t stop Koch from pampering Loki and making up for lost time. It seems that Loki’s cute appearance and mysterious history will forever remain a mystery.

The elderly feline spends her days being absolutely adorable and incredibly photogenic. In the span of five years, she’s become quite the celebrity, with a rapidly growing fan base numbering at 473k on her Instagram account. Fans can’t help but gush over her natural charm and cuteness that she displays effortlessly on a daily basis. Loki Kitteh, you’re simply the most adorable cat around!
