Ruben is a delightful dog who was rescued from Romania despite being born with only two functional legs. He has a unique and endearing way of moving, which involves holding his deformed front paw like a tyrannosaurus rex forelimb and running on his back legs. Safe Rescue for Dogs, a British charity, rescued Ruben from certain death in an Eastern European village where another puppy was saved earlier this year. According to charity worker Zoe Hare, the happy pooch doesn’t seem to realize that there’s anything wrong with him and throws himself into everything with the same enthusiasm as four-legged puppies.
This adorable dog has an unusual way of getting around due to his deformed front paw, which he holds like a tyrannosaurus rex forelimb. However, he doesn’t let that stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. Thanks to the British charity Safe Rescue for Dogs, Ruben was saved from certain death in an Eastern European village. Despite his deformity, Ruben doesn’t seem to be aware that anything is wrong with him. According to Zoe Hare, a worker for the charity, Ruben is enthusiastic about everything and throws himself into activities with the same energy as his four-legged counterparts. People are often surprised and amused when they see Ruben stomp around and bound like a dinosaur, but he is just happy to be alive and having fun.
Karen Stanway, a 31-year-old owner, recently adopted an adorable two-legged puppy named Reuben from Romania. She hopes that a new set of wheels will give him a new lease on life. Karen used to work as a veterinary nurse before taking a break to take care of her daughter. She fell in love with Reuben as soon as she saw his ad on Safe Rescue’s website. Reuben has a bubbly personality and plays with Karen’s other dog, Ally. Despite his disability, he still goes for walks, but Karen admits that they get strange looks from passersby. Although Reuben is a happy dog, he tires quickly from using only his back legs.
According to her, it took a few weeks to finally get the puppy she had been inquiring about. During that time, she made preparations for his arrival by designing ramps, gates, and brainstorming ideas to enhance his quality of life. As a young pup, he has an innate desire to play and move around, so Karen believes that getting him a set of wheels will be the best option for now. Karen stated that the puppy has formed an unbreakable bond with her five-year-old daughter, Penny. In order to fund his new set of wheels, Karen has created a donation page, hoping to raise £500 from generous contributors who value the importance of animal welfare. Karen expressed her eagerness to provide the puppy with the freedom he deserves after everything he has gone through, as he is a remarkable, joyful puppy who deserves a chance to live his best life.
