Meet Rexie, an adorable three-year-old kitten who proves that having a disability doesn’t limit one’s abilities. Despite having a broken backbone and being unable to control his back legs, Rexie has a unique and cheerful personality that shines through. He even has the nickname “Cat-King Of Bleps” thanks to his expressive face. According to his owner, Dasha Minaeva, their relationship is like that of a model and photographer, with great results every time.
Sadly, Rexie’s previous owners mistreated him as a kitten, leaving him paralyzed and with multiple health issues. Nevertheless, Rexie lives life to the fullest. Dasha states that Rexie doesn’t even realize he’s handicapped and does everything that other cats do. After being rescued, Dasha adopted Rexie, and they’ve been inseparable since.
Initially, Dasha got a custom wheelchair for Rexie, but it wasn’t very useful. Instead, Rexie is more mobile and comfortable walking and running on his two feet. Check out Rexie’s adorable pictures on Instagram and Facebook!
