How did Starfish become a part of your family?
Despite our initial doubts about committing to a pet, we had always wanted a cat. When we saw Starfish’s picture online, we knew he was the one for us. He came from a litter of five and his previous family couldn’t keep them all, so we decided to adopt him.
Starfish has such a unique appearance- do you have any idea what breed he is?
Although we saw Starfish’s mother when we picked him up, the father wasn’t around. We’re still trying to guess what breed he might be, but the vet thinks he’s a domestic longhair mixed with some sort of fancy breed. Regardless of his mysterious heritage, he’s undeniably adorable.
How did Starfish get his name?
We thought long and hard about what to name our new furry friend, but eventually Starfish just seemed to fit. We loved the idea of a cat named after a sea creature and it suits his playful and curious personality.
What is Starfish’s personality like?
Starfish is full of energy and loves to explore. He’s extremely affectionate and curious and often follows us around the house. He can be a bit mischievous at times, but he always makes us laugh.
What are his favorite hobbies?
Starfish loves to play with toys, especially anything that dangles or moves quickly. He’s also a big fan of cuddling and napping in cozy spots around the house.
What’s something special about Starfish that you’d like people to know?
Although he may look like a playful kitten, Starfish is actually a rescue cat and has a heart of gold. He’s brought so much joy and love into our lives and we feel lucky to have him as a part of our family.
What inspired Starfish’s name?
Upon seeing Starfish’s photo for the first time, a star-shaped marking on his face caught my eye. I instantly decided that Starfish was the perfect name for him!
What is Starfish’s character like?
Since he had been around humans from a young age, Starfish craves attention and enjoys being the center of attention. When no one is around, he makes a lot of noise to get attention, and every morning, he wakes us up with cuddles and loud purrs. Starfish isn’t shy at all, which is something I appreciate about him.
Does he live with any other cats or dogs?
No, but we did assist a friend in caring for her cat Leo previously. Leo was rather timid, but Starfish was constantly attempting to interact and play with him. Eventually, Leo had no choice but to warm up to Starfish, and they spent the entire day together!
What does he enjoy doing the most?
Starfish enjoys kneading his blanket by the window! His purring becomes louder whenever he is kneading, making it easy for us to know when he is doing it.
Is there anything unique about Starfish that you’d like others to know? Well, one thing that sets him apart is his ability to fall asleep anywhere and at any time! It’s always amusing and adorable to see him snoozing in the most uncomfortable-looking positions.
