“The Happy Rescue Dog: How He Helped a Couple Find True Love”

When a rescued pitbull finds a new home, their life transforms drastically. Many furry friends spend their lives waiting to capture the heart of a family that will give them a new lease on life. So when we come across a pup that leaves their breeder to begin a new story, our hearts flutter with happiness. Since being adopted, this pitbull puppy hasn’t stopped smiling.

Of course, puppies are the happiest; they express their gratitude for being adopted by wagging their tails and giving the best expressions. Others, more expressive, can’t stop smiling and indicate how happy they are in their new home.

This is the story of a puppy who was rescued from a shelter in Central Valley, California. For two years, he spent his days in a kennel until the day he could be completely free and adored. Lisa knew he was the one the moment she saw him.

The puppy, named Meaty, was adopted by Lisa Reilly, who knew she wanted him to be part of her family after seeing a picture from Fresno Bully Rescue. Lisa remembered her own dog Kitty, who had passed away three months prior. Without hesitation, she walked into the shelter and found Meaty basking in the sun; once again, she knew he was the one.

“From the first time I met Meaty until I was allowed to bring him home, Fresno Bully Rescue did an excellent job,” Lisa said.

Lisa took him home, where her five canine siblings awaited him, all rescued and with different personalities, cuddles, and methods to request attention. The dog enthusiast knew at home that she had adopted a very smiley and photogenic dog, the handsome puppy loves to pose for pictures and surprise everyone with his smile.

His charming smile has won the hearts of thousands of internet users.

Lisa notes that the first few days of the new family member were filled with mischief. Fortunately, his love for shoes and disobedience were left behind after not giving him food when he wanted it. Lisa said this about it: “I woke up to a sea of โ€‹โ€‹chewed shoes; he yelled at me when I didn’t feed him on time; he chased our puppies and then just walked away, refusing to move. I won’t even mention his snoring or excessive gas. He’s a treasure!”

Fortunately, Meaty learned to live with his family and his furry siblings and is now a very polite, affectionate, and expressive brother. His favorite hobby is acting like a huge baby and smiling most of the day; even when sleeping, he won’t stop smiling; he’s a cheerful puppy who insists on showing it off.

He will always be smiling, whether he’s sleeping, sunbathing, or in his mother’s arms.

Meaty has become a star, with over 150,000 followers on his Instagram account. This charming young dog enjoys smiling and being in his mother’s arms.

“He’s a big momma’s boy; he just wants to be by my side all the time,” Lisa explained.

Meaty has the most adorable and happy expression you can imagine. His happiness reminds us all that American Bully mixes can be as lively and loving as any other breed.

Lisa’s efforts to promote awareness of this breed and share its story earned her the top $25,000 prize, which she will donate to Fresno Bully Rescue.

Meaty is a huge baby with a lot of love to give.
